MapTactical User Guide

Welcome to MapTactical, the precision tool for creating Wardley Maps. This guide will help you get started and make the most of the app’s features.

Creating Your First Map

1. Start a New Map:
   • Click the “+” button or select “New Map” from the File menu.
2. Add Components:
   • Drag and drop components onto the map canvas.
   • Use the toolbar to add labels, interfaces, and connectors.
3. Position Components:
   • Drag components to arrange them according to their value chain and evolution stage.
4. Save Your Map:
   • Click “File” > “Save” to store your map locally.

Editing Maps

• Reposition Components: Drag components to new positions.
• Edit Labels: Double-click on a label to edit its text.
• Delete Elements: Select an element and press the Delete key.

Exporting Maps

• Export as PNG or PDF:
  1. Click “File” > “Export.”
  2. Choose your desired format and save location.
• Print Maps:
  1. Click “File” > “Print.”
  2. Adjust print settings and click “Print.”
